Sunday 9/23/18- Rosemary D. Gruner 5k 10:30am Dietz Stadium Kingston, NY. In conjunction with the Benedictine Hospital Foundation’s Bike for Cancer Care to benefit the Rosemary D. Gruner Memorial Cancer Fund. There will be two options a 5K Fun Run/Walk and a 5K Timed Race{ must preregister}. There will be free run for fun activities for children ages 5-10.  September 29, 2018 – Harmony Harvest Festival 5K Run and Walk @ 9:00 am. Proceeds go towards developing all educational programs provided to our students.  HCS is a non profit 501 C3 school.  We hold our 5k to promote the health and wellness of our community. 1790 Route 211 E, Middletown. Post race Games, bounce house, craft, music, lots of fun!

Sunday 9/30/18- Pfalz Point Trail Challenge 10 Mile Race 9am- Mohonk Preserve Spring Farm trail head High Falls, NY. Fees: $33 for Preserve members and $48 for non members . September 30, 2018 Sunday, September 30, 2018 –37th Annual Roosa Gap Roller Coaster Runs: 11.5 mile Run & 5K Run/Walk in Wurtsboro, NY. The Roller Coaster Run is a challenging 11.5 mile run starting by running along the scenic, flat D&H Canal Tow Path, tackle the uphill ascent, which is then rewarded as you hit the top of the ridge to the “Roller Coaster”, before you glide into a fabulous downhill finish back into the village. The 5K Run/Walk is a beautiful, scenic, flat, out and back along the serene & historic D&H Canal Tow Path. Come to run or walk and see our beautiful valley, be a part of our local history, both past and present. Proceeds from the race benefit the PFC Jerry B. Evans Memorial Scholarship Fund. Honoring our past to help our future.

October 6, 2018 – Vintage Run Half Marathon and 5K and Wine Festival. Run or walk and drink!!! Is there ever a better combination??? This race is unique, fun, economical. You will laugh, and you will enjoy it.

Registration to either race includes admission to the Wine Festival featuring over 40 wineries, and the museum. Tie Dye shirt and medals for all. Register online here. It’s cheaper to sign up and you get a lot more than just going to the festival. Come have fun!

October 7, 2018 – 35th Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Run.  Organized by Mid-Hudson Road Runners, this 5-mile point-to-point race starts on Broadway in Newburgh and finishes at Waterfront Park in Beacon.  Great fall foliage views of the Hudson River.  This race, great for setting a PR, is a favorite of many area runners.  Go to the club website, www.mhrrc.org for details and online registration.

Saturday- October 13, 2018:  Livingston Manor Half Marathon & 5K Run/Walk featuring Catskill Brewery. The half marathon is a point to point race. There will be a shuttle to the starting line from Livingston Manor Central School from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM. The half marathon starts at 10:30 AM at Mongaup Pond Campsites. October 20, 2018 – Mid-Hudson ACS 5K and Fun Run. The Mid-Hudson American Chemical Society (ACS) Scholarship Run is the first of its kind, raising money to support ACS scholarships in chemistry- related fields for deserving student-athletes. Starting at the Beacon Long Dock Park along the Scenic Hudson River on well-groomed trails, this 5K race offers beautiful foliage, panoramic views of the Hudson River, and perhaps you’ll even catch a glimpse of some nesting eagles! This event offers a timed 5K with a water stop, age group awards, and a one-mile fun run for those who choose a more relaxed version of the exercise.

October 20, 2018 – Zombie Zoom. Grahamsville, NY Runners/walkers of all ages are invited to the CAST’s (Tri-Valley booster club) Zombie Zoom, Saturday October 20 at 9:30.  This is approximately a 3 mile course which features zombies spread throughout.  Participants will try their best to avoid them while wearing a flag football belt. The goal is to complete the run without the zombies taking the flags. This is a fun untimed race that will be enjoyable for the whole family! The first 100 participants are guaranteed a tee shirt.

Saturday, November 17, 2018 –The DV Turkey Trot – 5K will be held on the scenic Delaware Valley High School Cross Country Course. The mission of the DV Turkey Trot is to promote running in the area and to assist the local food pantries prevent hunger this upcoming holiday season. We are asking all runners and walkers to help prevent hunger this year by bringing a canned food item to the event. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to our local food pantries. The race can be run or walked and there will be prizes given out to age division winners and the top male and female runners will receive a frozen Turkey. A free kid’s fun run will be held on the Track following the 5K race. Automatic timing and indoor facilities for registration, warm up, lunch and awards. So, come out and join us for a gobbling good time!

December 8th, 2018 – Tinsel Trot 5K. Rock Hill, NY. Mostly flat. Your support will benefit Monticello Students as well as a local charity. 3 overall F/M and age prizes starting 10 and under to 70+. Registration will open soon.

December TBA, 2018 – Santa Sprint 5K. It’s a family friendly event and Holiday themed attire is highly encouraged. This 5k fun-run is going to be flat, fast, and FUN! Starting right in front of Fit Body Boot Camp’s location in New Windsor.
